4th FRIDAY OF THE MONTH
FRIDAY 23rd October

EARLY EVENING: Miss Kimberley in 'Tranny Sings the Blues'

One of London’s most fashionable drag queens 'Miss Kimberley' who has sashayed for Project Catwalk and presented by Kelly Osbourne and Red or Dead during London fashion week is taking to the stage in her one woman show. 'The Tranny Sings the Blues'

Miss Kimberley sings the blues, interweaving songs and narratives which seemlessly interlink tribute songs to Destinys Child, Shirley Bassey, Billie Holiday and Etta James with touching and entertaining memories about being a little black girl growing up in Detroit and some of the characters she encountered, like the strong, black, educated woman with five children trying to make it on her own.
The blues has never been so entertaining, nor so powerfully sung or beautifully accompanied by Richard Link her musical director. Miss K will be sending out a message of LOVE to her audience in a rendition of Diana Ross's hit 'Reach out and Touch' choosing members of the audience to collaborate with her on the night.

Miss Kimberley has presented on 'BMP' and 'Night Life' on LWT, co-presented with Gail Porter on '020' a Time Out TV styled show and co-hosted 'Tranny of the year' with Ruby wax.
She has starred in the films 'killer Tongue' and 'Preaching to the perverted' which, she would like noted, was a role previously offered to Jerry Hall.
Stage credits include 'The Las Vegas Story and 'In the Flesh'
Miss Kimberley currently presents an Internet talk show 'The Powder Room' on Quod TV.

Miss Kimberley is the chairwoman of Drag Queens against Breast cancer benefiting the Breast Cancer Campaign.

This evening's performance is sponsored by Quod television www.quod.tv
